The Centre participated and displayed their products in the University of Ibadan Research and Development Fair (UI-RESDEV) held on 8 and 9 November, 2016 at the International Conference Centre. These novel products from the research and development unit of the Centre’s laboratory were adjudged the best in the Fair. The products on display includes four different branch of herbal teas, antifungal cream, quinine and Arthemether-Lumefanthine suppositories, hand sanitizer, alcohol spray and moringa oil. The teas which are purely from natural products are without additives for quality health. It has high content of antioxidants, anti-diuretic and antipyretic properties.
The Centre’s stand was gracefully visited by the Vice Chancellor, Professor Idowu A. Olayinka and principal officers in the University. Representatives of the Federal Ministry of Health, National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC), Pharmaceutical companies and the academia from the university and other universities were present to witness the event.
Furthermore, the Centre has supported research projects which have resulted in several publications.
